United Real Estate Corporation was established in 1950 and has been providing high quality consulting and appraisal services to the midwest community for over 50 years now.  We specialize in most types of residential and commercial valuation services for lending, gifting, investment, legal and other purposes.  Our blend of youth and experience among our members gives our clients the benefits of much of the new technologies available with the longer view of our more senior members.

What do those designations mean?

       MAI, Member Appraisal Institute

The Appraisal Institute was created by the merging of the Society of Real Estate Appraisers and the American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers. It is the oldest and best known of the commercial appraisal designations.

       SRA, Senior Residential Appraiser

This was the Society of Real Estate Appraisers best know designation for detached single family dwellings and multiple family buildings.  The merger of the two organizations provided the opportunity for these two best know designations to be integrated and managed by a single professional organization, the new Appraisal Institute.
